Can Someone Change What You Want?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Claudia and Lynnie are joined by Magdushya to explore hypnosis, hidden desires, and how much control we really have over our choices.
Plus, why is this generation increasingly choosing not to have kids and what does it say about how our priorities are changing?
Welcome to Coffee and Cleavage. Welcome, guys. I'm Linny. And I'm Claudia. And today we have a very special guest.
SPEAKER_02We do. Would you like to introduce yourself, or should I just introduce you as the love of my life? You do it. You do it. Yeah. Okay. You want me to do it? Okay, hold on.
unknownHold on, guys.
SPEAKER_02No, we we would like to formally properly introduce Magdusha. Um well, one of my best friends on the entire planet. Um, but also a woman with very strong values, very just I I can't I'm gonna start crying, so I I don't even want to introduce you, baby.
SPEAKER_00Thank you. That was a good intro.
SPEAKER_02But you know, I just just a sweetheart of a human, very successful, and just one of my best friends. And she just has so much to say, and she could definitely app. So Linny and Ari like, you know what? Let's have her on. We need mags on. So welcome to Coffee and Cleavage.
SPEAKER_00Thank you so much for having me. Thank you for joining us. Happy to be here, thank you.
SPEAKER_02Can you give our viewers who maybe don't know you as the love of their lives, like I do? Give us a little breakdown on you and what you're doing and who you are. Alright, so I'm from Germany. That's the accent that you hear.
SPEAKER_03Um I love your accent, by the way. Thank you. I think it's really hot.
SPEAKER_02You know what I ask her all the time? I'm like, when like nobody's around, do you still do the accent? She thinks I'm faking it.
SPEAKER_00She thinks like when I'm home, I'm like all American, like talking and stuff.
SPEAKER_04Really?
SPEAKER_00She's doing it for attention. Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. I need it, being friends with you. I have to come up come up with ways to like stand out next to Claudia. So it's not easy, okay? We talked about that. We do. Um, so my parents are both musicians, and I started off as a musical actress. I studied back in Germany. Um, this job was love of my life to bring that topic back. Um, I love doing it. My family has done it all their life. But then I was a professional dancer. I had the famous ACL knee accident, didn't heal properly, had several surgeries, wasn't as good anymore, couldn't audition properly, then kind of moved away from musical theater into movies, did a few independent movies, did a few mainstream things, which was cool. Then slid into reality TV back in Germany, 2009, actually. That was my first TV show. It was called Summer Girl 2009, like the perfect girl, sporty and smart and pretty. I covered none of those. I also didn't win, but I was there. It was cool. That's uh what started my reality show thing. Um, and then eventually I continued doing that for a long time. Even then during my move to America, they pretty much followed me since 2009. Um, my first husband, my first marriage, uh, the proposal was on TV, uh, our fights were on TV, the divorce, everything was uh filmed, but it was fun. And then um, so I still continue doing that, but most likely television likes to visit me when something interesting happens. They're like, is anything new happening? Are you pregnant? Are you gonna marry again? Are you gonna do this? I'm like, uh, I vacuum today. I actually threw my iPhone box away. No, that's because you told me. Yeah, that was that was a that was a big day. That was a big day for you. Do you guys do you have that too? Do you keep the Apple product boxes? Yes. Actually, I do. They're all stacked up. It's not just me. There you go.
SPEAKER_02Linny, you're gonna have to go through all that stuff out. I I finally made her throw boxes out. Like, why do you keep this stuff?
unknownI don't know.
SPEAKER_00That's a good question. Didn't I film myself to prove it to you? Yeah, because I was scared you wouldn't believe me. So yeah, television did not want to film how I threw away my iPhone 16 or whatever box away. Um, but they still film sometimes if something fun is happening. Um, but yeah, when I moved to America, I kind of didn't do so much filming movies anymore or musical theater because with the knee, I just I didn't feel like I could start again, especially not in LA or New York. Um, so eventually later, um, I got into hypnosis, my second profession, that I love just as much, almost as much. Um, musical theater will forever be my, you know, the one that got away. Yeah. When I see a show, I'm still like, I'm fine, we're fine, don't lose it. And I do lose it. You could still get back into it. No, not musical. You have to be an all-arounder. The dancing, acting, and singing has to be together and just as good in all three. So you need to do all three. You have to cover all three bases to be really good and to, you know, get into good shows. And um, but yeah, I started hypnosis and um learned and um found that this is an incredible tool and probably the closest thing to magic that we have. Um I used it myself as a client uh when I went through divorce, when I went through a lot of different things, and it did help me, but at the time when I did it, I also did other things. So I was like, it's a mix of all that. I just got better, time healed my wounds. But now, knowing more about it, I'm like, it was actually the hypnosis, I think, that helped me, you know, get to the next step and heal. Um, and then I became a hypnotist myself. And um, in COVID in 2020, you know, when everything was down, I kind of blew up on TikTok, all these videos went viral, and I got a lot of clients and a lot of people, which was cool. And I think the biggest takeaway for me was that when you are hurting and you help slash heal others, you always heal a piece of yourself. I was like addicted to helping others because I couldn't help myself, if that makes sense. Like I noticed that whenever I'm very stressed or anxious, I call my friends even more, but not to talk to them about my stress. I'm like, how are you doing? Is everything okay? Or if somebody has a problem, I feel like, oh my god, I can help them right now, and then I don't think about my stuff.
SPEAKER_02You're very empathetic too.
SPEAKER_00It's maybe wrong, but yeah, that's how I do it.
SPEAKER_02Do you think like with hypnosis? Because I don't know if any of our viewers are even familiar with hypnosis, because I think when I think of hypnosis before knowing you, I think of like the silly like jungle book, like watch. Oh, you're getting sleepy. Oh, the snake. You know, like the snake and stuff like that. Do you do you do have people, especially men, come to you online looking for hypnosis in like a sexual way? Is that is that like a something that you've been approached with?
SPEAKER_00Yes, and that is why I'm not super wealthy yet. The biggest the biggest ask I have is like hypnofetish to combine what I do with how I look with those two. And I just can't. I I respect the profession so much, and I've done hypnosis on people that I don't know if they still would be here. I'm saying not just because of me, right, but I don't know if they would still be with us, and I've used it on people that have been through stuff that Stephen King himself couldn't um write. Yeah. So I can't combine it and just mix it.
SPEAKER_02What is like the sexy strange hypnosis request you've ever had? Like the sexual one?
SPEAKER_00I mean oh, the guys say say stuff like um hypnotize me to not be able to come or hypnotize me to come whenever you say oh wow. Or or um or they want to see videos of me being hypnotized, me hypnotizing a hot girl. Interesting. That would be fun. Everybody's in sexy lingerie, we're doing it. Sounds cool, but I can't.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I I am the first one to do stupid stuff. And you you you know me. We can do anything and just turn it around and I'll be all game. But with the hypnosis, I just have some sort of respect and I can't. But it's a huge market, which I didn't know. But also what isn't. If you really look, you could probably type in the most random stuff and be like Is looking at plants while eating a hot dog a fetish? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02It's gonna be like, oh yeah, there's six hundred. It's kind of like Googling like floor the all you have to type into Google's Florida man, and then it'll list like six thousand things that like men in Florida did today that are like like you could literally look up Florida man jumps on alligator and like it happened today.
SPEAKER_01It's always Florida though. It's always Florida. It's always Florida. Like what are you guys doing in Florida? Crazy shit.
SPEAKER_02Well, so I it's funny because the hypnosis, there's a actually a um, I guess, terms of service thing on like the websites that we're on that you can't do hypnosis.
SPEAKER_00It's very against terms of service. You just reminded me sometimes when people would write that in the chat, in the beginning, I answered and I said, I don't do hypnosis on here. And it would actually flag me or show me a sign. I can't use that word.
SPEAKER_02Wow. Now that you say that I remember Do you think I could hypnotize you into finely scissoring? Uh if you guys don't know. If you guys don't don't know the reference, you have to go on our Instagram pages. We did this video that went viral. Um what was the video?
SPEAKER_00It was Claudia took me out to a fancy restaurant and and asked me if, you know, after the very expensive and very nice dinner, if there was any scissoring gonna happen. And I said, you know what, I'm a little headache and I don't know about tonight, probably not. So I think her the bill.
SPEAKER_02She gave me the bill. So now it's a running joke, and I get messages all the time. Why doesn't Maggie want to scissor you? And I just, I don't know, guys. I don't know. So for her birthday, one of her gifts, I bedazzled her some nice scissors. One side pink like you and one thing, like like me. And one black like her, yeah. I love it.
SPEAKER_01So, okay. So let let's Anyways, enough about my private life.
SPEAKER_02Enough about that. We actually wanted to bring you on for a fun little topic today, because you know, we like to cover fun things. And I think the three of us are are passionate about this.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02The lack of children in the world. Why do you think? I don't know if this has been like a hypnosis thing for you. Why are so many people choosing to not have kids?
SPEAKER_00Somebody uh posted or I read somewhere, it said, Don't you think the people that choose not to be parents are probably the best parents? Yeah. Or isn't that proof of how much we would love kids because we don't want to put them in whatever the F is going on right now?
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_00Besides other reasons.
SPEAKER_03But yeah.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I don't want to sound like our moms, but like, look at this. The world. It's really tough right now, really rough, really cruel, really fake.
SPEAKER_02Well, people say if you don't have kids, that's selfish. I think it's selfish to have kids because you're you're you're if I'm not having kids, I can't be selfish because I'm choosing to not bring somebody into the world that I'm not gonna give a hundred percent to, right? And there's so many selfish to whom? Right. To whom are we? It's an unborn baby, so who am I being selfish to be?
SPEAKER_03Don't you be pledged sometimes by by people? Do either of you?
SPEAKER_02Oh, all the time.
SPEAKER_03Always family members or friends, like of course.
SPEAKER_00If you're a healthy, pretty young girl and you're financially stable and you're smart, they're like, This is a sin, like you should give that, you know, like why? I mean, yeah, I'd rather be no mom than a mom that can't really do everything for the child. And you know, I think we're all the same. We always want the best of the best. So and uh and also the I mean, if I think about having a son, the fear of him being accused of something he maybe did didn't do, he was at the wrong place uh in the wrong time. And they say he he harmed another girl or he did something, or vice versa, even worse, the thought of my beautiful little princess being harmed. And also, you know, I think we're all three a little bit slight gangster girls. If somebody would yeah just think about our pets, what we would do if somebody would have harmed our pet. I go to prison. Yeah, I go to prison. So for my child, that's also for my own safety because if somebody would harm my kid, I would probably lose it.
SPEAKER_02Have you guys seen that? Like real, it's like the person's like having like like on vacation, like having a margarita, and the real says, I've never once been on vacation and thought, you know what would make this better? Yes, some fucking kids.
SPEAKER_03I've seen that, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And it's like, you know, like I I love I love my friends that have kids, but you know, I also like think like when we were flying here today, I was like, God, if I had like to like tug a kid around right now. Like I already have like two suitcases, two carry-ons, a purse.
SPEAKER_01Now I'm gonna get all these birkins and a child. Yeah, where do you put a baby in a birkin?
SPEAKER_00Maybe in the 38 to 40, like maybe in the big messenger model they have.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but then they spit in the birkin.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, see, so that's a whole nother topic besides the world being terrible and it's just so scary out there. I mean, for example, my parents were very old. My mom was 45, my dad was 50. Wow. Super late child. Probably wasn't planned, but they were like, eh, they kept me, right? But so I grew up with old parents, no siblings. I never watched my nieces, cousins, nephews. I never I always watched pets, even when I was young, to make some money. I would walk the dogs and watch the cats.
SPEAKER_02Did you feel like you missed having a sibling, or are you glad you're an only child? Because like my husband, for example, he's an only child and he's like, I love being an only child. Because everybody's always like, Oh, you don't have any siblings, like does that bother you? And he's like, No, I fucking loved it. Like, I'm I didn't have to share anything.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, true. No, I um I'm very lucky to that one talent of mine that I really do think I have is meeting amazing people, making amazing friends. Yeah. So I always had good, solid friends. You know, not all of these friendships survived, but I always all my life had a solid great group. Yeah. So I don't really Some people have that one sibling they can count on, right? Everybody cheats on you and leaves you, but your brother or sister's gonna be there. But you can find those friends and people uh those people and friends too. So um no, I don't really No, I don't really think I I I needed a sibling or something. But it definitely added to me never being around little kids. Even when I was young, I never watched kids, I never really was around kids. My parents were old, so I was with older people all the time. So I also never I do believe that you know there's this famous um debate what shapes us more our genetics or our circumstances, and I still put more weight on the circumstances because even if your genetics are horrible but you g get adopted into a great family, you'll be great, and vice versa. You can have great genetics, but nobody gives you a chance, nobody supports your talent, your passion, and then what you're still gonna be.
SPEAKER_02Are you very similar to like you have a uh a brother, right? Yeah, do you see are you guys similar in in that regard?
SPEAKER_0315 years apart. Okay, but 15 years apart, but we're close, you know. I love him. And he's my baby brother. So my my brother I was really close with. He passed away, but we were only, you know, two and a half years apart, and we're still closer in age.
SPEAKER_02Wow. But do you think like your brother, even with the age difference, do you see yourself in him and him and you vice versa? Like yeah, very similar. Really? He's the little rock star, right? Yeah, yeah, that's cool. Like you have to see him before. My younger brother, my younger brother and I are two completely different. Like, we don't even, I don't even like my husband doesn't even think we're from the same family. Really? Yeah, like two completely different people. So it's interesting when I, you know, talk to people like. What's your age difference? Six years. Oh, but like two totally different households. Like if you met him, you'd be like, There's no fucking way. Like you guys aren't related. Like I'd be quicker related to you guys than than to him. Like, there's it's so I agree with you, circumstances because even growing up under the same roof, I think we're two totally different people.
SPEAKER_00I believe genetics maybe only show with maybe certain talents, like musicians. I got it from my parents, that music thing. Yeah, or maybe you're drawn to medicine, right? Or engineering. I can see that running in the family, and you maybe take that over, but in general, it's your circumstances, like who are the people, you know, we're the average of our five closest people. Yeah. What we read, what we watch, right? Don't watch all that negative bullshit. Like try to surround yourself. That shapes you.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And you don't have to believe in manifestation and and all that spiritual stuff, but I do believe that what you see makes your programming back to hypnosis. In the end, everything is hypnosis. Yeah. Everything you watch before you sleep, after you wake up, that people also a very strong uh version of hypnosis is advice or criticism from people that you look up to. If somebody has a higher authority than you, you are very suggestible to them. Yeah. For example, let's say you're single and um a nice man tells you you're pretty, you'll be like, oh, thanks. But now the man that you really want, that you find very attractive, tells you you're pretty. It has a completely different impact on you, you know?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So um, yeah, we are definitely um dependent on who's around us and whom we talk to and or don't talk to. Mentors.
SPEAKER_02Have you ever had any like hypnosis people that have asked you to like not have a family or start a family or anything like anything strange like that? No, we're on the topic of the case.
SPEAKER_00I had um I had one case that technically is unethical to do, but I um consulted with a few other fellow hypnotists. Um it was a guy from a family and a country, I don't remember, and he was gay. And there was no chance for him to be gay and to stay alive. Wow. Let's put it that way. Wow. History you know, culture, family, let's and um and we were like, oh my god, you ha you have to cut off the family, move to another country, or even to another state, you can do it, you'll find great friends, you might find a part you'll he couldn't. It was that whole honor, blah blah blah blah blah. And we over months uh hypnotized him into not being gay. Wow. Which I still don't know if that really worked, because from what what I understand, you can't really change um sexual orientation with hypnosis, but it worked enough for him to start dating girls and feel good about it. And eventually I think he got engaged and did what the parents wanted, but didn't feel suicidal because of it anymore.
SPEAKER_04Oh wow.
SPEAKER_00Um That was pretty crazy. And then the other second thing that also we're supposed to technically not do is amnesia. But there are cases so What about if it's like a traumatic if you have insane trauma, there are two options. I can make you forget that, uh, but you know I did. So you will be like, I don't even know, but I know I saw this girl and you know I did. Or I could make you forget it and you don't even know that you saw me, or you think you saw me for diet hypnosis or smoking. Um and we did that with one woman. She's what I meant earlier that Stephen King would couldn't even write something like that. She had a story that till today I'm like, if that shit is real, then like I mean what she's been through. Um the parents you know, did stuff to her, but even worse than sold her around the neighborhood, let's put it that way. Uh, for years, for years. And um she found me not because of what happened to her, but she found me because she started to have weird dreams and ideas about her nephews and nieces, where she turns into the abuser. Only dreams, nothing happened. Yeah, and she was like, Oh hell no. She was like, I I I've I I have my share, I'm not gonna feel funny with my little family members now. Yeah, and and yeah, she f you know, she found me through TikTok or something, and I don't know if she told me everything, but whatever she told me, I remember there was a moment where I was like, Can I continue doing this? Because that was that was really hard. Yeah, wow.
SPEAKER_02You also kind of have to know, like, when do I call the police, you know?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and yeah, you know, we get so desensitized, we see you know, television is so cruel nowadays. They just show shootings, they just show assassinations and and and stab stabbings. So I feel like, I mean, I've seen it, we've all seen it, but that the and the way she told me, I was like, there's no way, like what? Yeah, and um also back to the point, how would I now combine this with a damn dude that wants to get off to hip it's I you can't these are my stories with hypnosis. I just can't, yeah.
SPEAKER_02It's too wide of a spectrum, I think. You got you gotta like choose your your lane with what you want.
SPEAKER_00Huge market though, but um yeah, I just can't. The respect and for the craft and especially for the people that see me, the respect for the people that have seen me so far.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You know, to some it could be already a problem that I'm even around on the spicy pages, too. Some people could be like, how can I take her seriously if she's doing that too? Yeah. But the least I can do is not bring the profession like around. Let's say they see that and they're like, oh nice. I tell her about my abuse, and here she is in some stripper heels with some with some pocket watcher. You're delaying some hot blogs.
SPEAKER_02Well, yeah. If any of you have any hypnosis questions, please uh drop them in the comments. Yeah, because I I still have so many questions, and I know a lot about you, but I still have it is really cool though.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it is actually a really, really cool and in many, many cases. I have a great hypnotist friend, he's in New York, super talented, and he's kind of my go-to. If I don't know what to do, I ask him. Yeah, that's all. Um he's incredible. He actually part of his family is in a cult. He kind of got out, he has his own crazy story. Um, but sometimes I would call him after, or something would, you know, work out, and I would be like, dude, yeah, I'm still I've been doing this since 2019, and still sometimes uh after a session, or if people had a car accident, they haven't been in car in 10 years, and they send me a selfie from the DMV renewing their license. I'm like, bro. That's cool. I'm still I'm still not used to it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, to what I do and or the results. I'm still like, damn. Well, if you guys are looking for results, yeah, yeah, you know who to go.
SPEAKER_02Well, thank you so much for thank you so much for joining us. Oh my god, thank you for having us. And and sharing very cool stories. I hope that all your clients find peace. Yeah, I hope so. They deserve. And um fun topic about the children too.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, definitely. I know I don't ever plan on it.
SPEAKER_01What you feel is right. Don't ever be forced into anything. Don't be forced into it and fuck them kids. Fuck them kids. Have this says keep get your kid away from me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we need three of them. Did you see the video where it just shows like heaven and flowers and and clouds? And and it says that moment when that kid running through the restaurant finally hits his head.
SPEAKER_02Okay, we're gonna end it on that before we get booted off YouTube.
SPEAKER_01Cheers to that. Cheers guys. Oh god.
